CREATIVE DESIGN
We have a professional team with the art and practice of planning, projection of ideas, experiences with visual and textual content. They create powerful and unforgettable computer-generated graphics designed to empower customers products.
PROOFREADING
With a team of proofreaders who go through work before approval for printing and publishing. Common errors and mistakes are sighted. In addition, a client is provided with professional advice and guidlines on his or her project.
DIGITAL PRINTING
Knowing that printing changes every now and then, the creative design lab has been equiped with good digital printers printing up to A3 size including the self-carbonated paper NCR in full colour. We can print up to A3 size in four colours both sides including self-carbonized papers NCR in colour.
OFFSET PRINTING
We are so far the oldest printing press in the country. Our offset printing history dates back to 1978 when our first A1 offset printing machine was installed. But we have continued to add more machines and the largest size which can print 70x100cm in four colours one side.
SCREEN PRINTING
Printing is truely diverse, screen printing is one of the lowly used form of printing when it comes to books or paper material. At Marianum Press, we use screen printing for printing traditional book covers.
LAMINATION
Adding value and protection to our products has always been our top priority. We recently installed an A1 Thermal Laminating machine to replace the old wet laminating machine. This thermal laminator is not only faster but also gives better laminated products in all sizes up to A1 size. You can also choose between gloss and matte laminated.
FOLDING
Marianum Press boosts over the availability of multi-folding options like parallel and cross folding or a combination of the two in one folding machine. Depending on what end product you want to have, we can offer you all these services.
SEWING
When the page numbers of a book or magazine go beyond 96 pages, stitching that book or magazine into a finished product comes with challenges. In that case we employ the sewing method as a solution to the above challenge. Our sewing machines can handle folded sections up to 32 pages.
BINDING
Marianum Press binds books, catalogues, magazines, desertations, etc. We offer vast types of binding services such as; saddle stitch, perfect, flash, metallic spiral, plastic spiral and the traditional hard cover binding.
CUTTING/ TRIMMING
Trimming a text book to the final size can be challenging especially when the spine of the book must be protected from folds and edge tearing. We have solved this with a 3 knife trimmer. This machine can trim a book to the final size without introducing folds in the spine as compared to using a single knife trimmer to do the same job.
PUBLISHING
Some printed products do require perforation as a finishing binding method. We can only do this for you up to A3 size without any delay. But with prior arrangement, sizes of A2 and A1 can be handled using a special perforating form.
STITCHING
When we talk about stitching we are the masters in the country. We have a machine which can gather a magazine or exercise book up to 128 pages in A5 size and up to 64 pages in A4 size and trim it to the final size without errors at a top speed of 5000 magazines per hour. This is done in addition to cover folding.
